Intercambios, pronounced Inter-kambios, is a multigenerational Latino-led cultural enterprise rooted in healing-centered leadership, economic justice, organizational systems and digital ecosystems, and narrative and cultural communications.
We partner with cultural leaders building and growing organizations — often under $1M — strengthening leadership, narrative, and systems without sacrificing cultura.

At Intercambios, our work moves through three interconnected labs which help cultural leaders reclaim their power, sustain their work, and build organizations that endure.
Our motto, #Invest and #Hire Cultural Leaders, reflects a deeper truth: leadership already exists within our communities. It does not need to be created — it needs to be resourced, trusted, and honored.

Intercambios was built from lived experience.
It grew from years of frontline work, community organizing, and leadership inside organizations supporting survivors, families, and communities navigating violence and injustice.
Like many cultural leaders, our founder moved through many roles — outreach worker, advocate, trainer, and program leader — often carrying responsibility while rarely seeing leadership spaces that reflected the communities being served.
Along the way, one truth became clear: cultural leaders are often asked to lead transformation without the resources, systems, or care needed to sustain their work.
Intercambios emerged from that realization — a space where healing, organizational systems, and narrative power come together to support cultural leaders building lasting change.

Meet our Team

Intercambios team
Intercambios is led by an intergenerational (ages 22–55), survivor-centered team of cultural leaders—including LGBTQ+ individuals, youth, women, and Latine visionaries—whose work is shaped by lived experience across systems of violence, from sexual harm to institutional injustice.
What sets us apart is that we are not just consultants; we are survivors committed to ending violence and building communities rooted in healing and economic justice.
Our extended network includes three Black women-led and one Indigenous-led sister organizations, reflecting our deep commitment to cultural accountability and cross-racial solidarity. We center youth voice and leadership at every level—grounded in lived experience, creativity, and trust.
